Brazilian carnival or BATUCADA drumming was used for the opening of the 2016 olympics and is a major part of the annual Rio carnival (the largest carnival in the world).

This is an energetic session with children playing all of the time and having amazing fun whilst learning about some of the culture of Brazil. We have a vast library of material so we can deliver this to KS 1 – 4 changing the content to suit. This session is another with great links to Black History Month and can hit many of the National Curriculum goals for music.
